Angela Minicuci (Marketing and Promotions) - Angela is a 20-something Lansing transplant from metro Detroit. Currently working for the Michigan Department of Community Health, she’s passionate about the Lansing community she now calls home, and the wonderful friends she’s made here. In grade school, Angela was an active member of drama clubs and performing arts programs. Once at Michigan State University, her path directed her towards a career in public relations but her love of theatre never stopped. After finding a wonderful friend in Chad Badgero, it was only natural that she would also fall in love with Peppermint Creek Theatre Company. PCTC not only provides a connection to theatre for Angela, but it gives mid-Michigan residents a chance to walk in someone else’s shoes with every show: something Angela is committed to encouraging more people to experience. Aside from sitting in the seats of a PCTC show or making Michigan a healthier state, you can find Angela volunteering at local Old Town festivals, around downtown Lansing with friends, or running the river trail with her loving boyfriend, Josh, and their two odd-couple pups: Misa the 50 pound pit bull (read: total scaredy cat), and Bebe the 4 pound rat terrier (read: Miss too big for her britches).
Karyn Perry (Adviser) - Karyn is owner and director of Karyn’s Dance Place in Holt. She and her Senior Company members have most recently traveled to New York City where they performed in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. In past years they have also traveled to Orlando, Florida where they danced in the half time show for the Capital One Bowl and also to Walt Disney World, dancing for the Detroit Pistons. Her students have also danced for the Detroit Pistons at Walt Disney World and are currently the dance team for the Lansing Capitals basketball team. Many of Karyn’s students are enjoying professional dance careers on Broadway, in movies and television. She has been awarded Pulsar and Thespie awards for her work on Peppermint Creek productions, as well as numerous other theatres in the Lansing area. Karyn is a lover of visual arts, food, and shoes.
