Known as the meeting place for Lansing's diverse communities, Creole Gallery provides an inviting space for art, concerts, theater and poetry. Sounds of jazz, folk, blues and pop regularly grace the ears of its many patrons.
Creole Gallery is located at 1218 Turner Street in Lansing's Old Town.

Directions
From Grand Rapids:
*Take I-96 east to I-496 east;
*Take the Walnut/Pine Street exit and head N on Walnut to Grand River Ave;
*Turn right (east) onto Grand River;
*Turn left (north) at first light after crossing river-Turner Street;
*The Creole is a half block up on your right.
From Ann Arbor or Detroit:
*Take I-96 W to Lansing’s US-127 North/I-496 exit;
*Take the Pennsylvania/Larch/Cedar street exit;
*Head north on Larch to Grand River Avenue and turn left (west);
*Turn north at the second light (just past a set of tracks) -Turner Street;
*The Creole is a half block up on your right.
From Flint:
*Take I-69 south/west to US-127 south;
*Take the Grand River Exit and turn right;
*Stay on Grand River -- it will become Oakland Avenue (there is a turn-off for North Grand River, which will take you directly to Old Town, but you run the risk of catching a train);
*Just after a viaduct (the train tracks you're avoiding!), turn right (north) onto Larch and get into the far left lane;
Turn left (west) at Grand River;
*Turn north at the second light (just past a set of tracks) -Turner Street;
*The Creole is a half block up on your right.
From Mount Pleasant:
*Take US-127 south;
*Take the M-43/Saginaw Exit and turn right or west;
* Stay in the lane second from the right (the very right lane eventually veers off)
*Just after a viaduct, turn right (north) onto Larch and get into the far left lane;
*Turn left (west) at Grand River;
*Turn north at the second light (just past some railroad tracks) -Turner Street; if you go over the bridge, you've gone too far
*The Creole is a half block up on your right.
From Jackson:
*Take 127 north to I-496 west;
*Take the Pennsylvania/Larch/Cedar street exit;
*At the bottom of this exit you will cross Pennsylvania Avenue and get back onto an on-ramp -- follow the sign to Larch/Cedar Streets;
*Head north on Larch to Grand River Avenue and turn left (west);
*Turn north at the second light (just past the railroad tracks) -Turner Street;
*The Creole is a half block up on your right.
From Kalamazoo/Battle Creek:
*Take 1-94 east to 69 north;
*As 69 merges with I-96 west, get in the right lane and take I-496 east into downtown Lansing;
*Take the Walnut/Pine Street exit and head N on Walnut to Grand River Ave;
*Turn right (east) onto Grand River;
*Turn left (north) at first light after crossing river -Turner Street;
*The Creole is a half block up on your right.
